Neurofeedback

Explained

How It Works

Through monitoring your brainwaves, we identify patterns and gently encourage positive changes, promoting improved mental clarity and emotional stability. Neurofeedback uses biofeedback to teach the brain to produce healthier pathways. During a Neurofeedback session small sensors are placed on your scalp to measure brainwave activity. You'll engage in a visual or auditory task, such as watching a video or listening to sounds. The screen or audio provides real-time feedback  in the form of rewards when your brain achieves desired patterns.Over time, your brain adapts to these patterns, learning to replicate the healthier states more consistently. You will need to come into the office at least two times a week for a session and each session lasts 30 minutes.
